Fort Ponderosa Campground
Fort Ponderosa Campground is located right on Belt Creek, just 2 miles from the little town of Belt. There are lots of activities to enjoy including creek swimming, creek fishing, horseshoes, hiking, biking and bird watching just to name a few. We have barbecues and fire rings located at most sites and have grassy, shady spots. We also provide a playground for the kids, a gift store, laundry facilities, propane tank refilling and firewood for sale.
Belt Creek runs through the park, with good access to fishing for brown and rainbow trout. Gambling and excellent food nearby. The park has been serving the public for 59 years with its 7 acres of well manicured lawn and large trees.
